I think we all know that today's perception of beauty is distorted . that , as girls, in the back of our minds we are aware that those images of 'beautiful' women that we are bombarded with , are in fact not realistic and photo-shopped. and yet it is still such a struggle for us. our sense of self worth has been so battered. our hearts have been so bruised. and the worse thing is, we are embarrassed by our desire to be considered beautiful.
it is really is a journey... finding our validation, confidence and assurance in our FirstLove. TheOne who is so deeply in love with us. we will never find someone who will complete us, and we will fail if we search for that in people. God longs to pursue us, He longs for us to seek His face. and i know the thing that really gets me is: He will never reject your heart. His Love never fails. He loves us unconditionally.. unconditionally. you don't have to struggle with your quest to be beautiful. because you are beautiful...
